"It has been a year since you and your sister Sophie got lost in the woods. You eventually found your way out, but the nightmares continue to this day. They take you back to that morning when you and your sister woke up in your parents' car, with no sign of your mother or father nearby.

This incident happened exactly one year ago, the day before your birthday. It had been a long time since you had thought about those terrible events, but for some reason, the nightmares began to haunt you again. Every morning for a week now, you wake up in a cold sweat and look around, afraid that one of these mornings you won't see the familiar outlines of the furniture in your room and you'll end up back in that cursed forest.
